1. Night at the Museum – Saturday 18th May

For one night only, Black Country Living Museum will open its doors after hours for this unique event featuring musical entertainers, street performers, choir singing, brass bands and even a WW1 solider re-enactment. 2. Pitch in and dance for Victory – Saturday 18th May

Calling lovers of all things vintage! Join the folks at Staffordshire County Showground to pay tribute to the Land Girls and Lumber Gills who supported our country during the Great Wars. Be sure to bring your purse as you're sure to pick up a bargain at the 1930s-1970s vintage fair selling everything from clothing to homewares. Keep children entertained with several treasure trails running throughout the day and plenty of activities with the 1940s Brownies. And as the night begins the adults can enjoy an amazing 1940s military-themed party completed with themed food and drinks. 3. Lee Nelson Live – Friday 17th May

With less than 40 tickets left, Lee Nelson's show at The Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton is sure to be a sell out. The comedian, whose last tour was extended three times, promises a night of 'quality jokes, games and banter' Special guests include Dr Bob and Jason Bent. 4. Staffordshire Foods and Crafts Fair - Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th May

A fantastic celebration of all that is good to eat and drink across the region. Learn from the best with exclusive cooking demonstrations from multi-Michelin star award winning chef Jean-Christophe Novelli and cookery writer and celeb chef Sophie Grigson. 5. Open Cockpit night at Cosford – Saturday 18th May

If you love anything to do with aviation, then this is for you. See the planes at RAF Cosford like you never have before, including, jet fighters and a transport aircraft. Visitors will be able to get a real feel of what it was like to fly these amazing machines and have exclusive after-hours access to the museum. Tickets are £10.00. 6. Wartime Whittington - Saturday 18th May & Sunday 19th May

Whittington goes to war this weekend as Staffordshire Regiment Museum hosts two days of WW2-themed events, including mock battles provided by Living History Groups. Soldiers dressed in period British, US and German uniforms will be taking part in displays across the weekend. There will also be an amazing Home Guard demonstration to display to the work of those on the Home Front. Entry is £6 for adults and £4 for children and senior citizens. 7. The Spice Train – Saturday 18th May

Travel in the Severn Valley Railways diesel unit for an evening journey from Kidderminster, calling at Bewdley and Arley before arriving at Highley. Upon arrival at Highley visitors will be able to explore the exhibitions and displays before enjoying supper from the curry buffet, including a complimentary beer or soft drink, before returning to Kidderminster. 8. Hills Alive, an Evening Ramble – Friday 17th May
