Always great when innovative events crop up and none can be more said about the truly great and bonkers Magic Door, which will take place at Lab11 in Digbeth. Lush at Gorgeous in Wolverhampton have consistently packed them in this year with a combination of great drinks prices and big beats. Djs tonight include Audiopunks and Joe Campbell.

I'm also in Birmingham on Bank Holiday Sunday for K.I.S.S at The Slug and Lettuce. With the weather looking great, Brindley Place will no doubt be buzzing so be sure to swing by to listen to some sublime beats and take in a cocktail or two.
