Review: Pink at Birmingham LG Arena
Global superstar Pink showed she is as skilled at acrobatics as singing when she took to the stage at the LG Arena in Birmingham.
The singer, who is a mother-of-one, was strapped to a harness above the stage, but still managed to deliver pitch perfect lyrics at the same time.
The platinum blonde burst onto the stage via a trampoline before treating fans to a selection of hits from her sixth studio album The Truth About Love.
There was also space on the bill for other tunes from her back catalogue including Just Give Me a Reason, Try and How Come You're Not Here. She also sang a medley of her earlier work including There You Go and You Make Me Sick, while pulling off some slick dance routines.
The singer performed the song Sober in a oval-shaped cage which was hoisted high above the stage. There were gasps from the crowd as it spun round in circles, with Pink seemingly not strapped in.
The 33-year-old looked out of breath at times and no wonder with the amount of stunts she was doing. She took a few minutes out to catch her breath by slowing down the night's proceedings with an acoustic performance of Who Knew.
Pink's last performance of the night was breathtaking. She was strapped in a harness and flew across the entire audience while singing hit single So What.
At the very end, video clips were shown on the big screens of Pink rehearsing for the show and also her young daughter Willow, which seemed to melt hearts all across the arena.
Pink plays at the LG Arena again tonight.
