Cannock-born rock star Glenn Hughes is to release a live album next month, recorded on a two-night stint at the Robin 2 in Bilston.

Called Live In Wolverhampton, it was recorded on June 6 and 7, 2009.

The first night featured some of Hughes' greatest songs, including solo material and frpm his time with Deep Purple. The next night concentrated on his time in Trapeze.

It is the second live release Hughes has been involved in this year after his other band, Black Country Communion, released a DVD called Live Over Europe last month.
