Prog rock stalwarts Pallas are set to play the Robin 2 in Bilston next year. It follows the news that singer Paul Mackie has been given the all clear after growths in his nose and throat were found to be benign.

This means that the band's performance at this year's Hard Rock Hell in Prestatyn and their hometown Christmas appearance at The Tunnels in Aberdeen on December 10 will go ahead as planned.

Pallas will play The Robin 2 on Sunday, February 26, 2012.

Writing is now underway on the band's follow up to this year's highly acclaimed album XXV. The band will also be spending time working on some very radical remixes of XXV tracks, the first of which will see the light of day as a special pre-Christmas, free download.

The new album has a working title of The Fall of Mammon.
