. Friday night sees me play in Shanghai and then Saturday Singapore – which of course is one hell of a Halloween Weekend!

I'll fill you in with all my tales of the Orient next week but there's an abundance of clubbing frivolity to be had closer to home this weekend and let's kick things off over in Stourbridge as Itch continue to bring the big name DJs to The Swan.

They have drafted in the delectable Eve Carey to fire out the big global grooves. On the high street you'll find G.O.D (Good Old Days) at Que Pasa where James Blond will be headlining to serve up classic house and anthems.

In Wolverhampton tonight the Whatever!? gang celebrate their 1st Birthday in true style and have put together a stellar line up with Katie May headlining with a live PA. DJs in support include Joe Hunt, Hannah Wants and Ill Phil all backed up by a boosted sound system.

There are a couple of new events to tell you about in Birmingham tonight with Vibes From The Tribe launching at Post Nightclub and Bar at the Mailbox where Ryan James leads the DJ pack while Chris B is on percussion. Other DJs include Woza and Joe Bonas who'll be going through the spectrum of quality house.

The Vaults is also trying to break the shackles of just being a pre-bar with a new improved sound system and lighting to take you through to the early hours.

Tonight sees the launch of Icon, which will break down the boundaries and have no themes or entrance fees – just great house, disco, indie, funk and soul in a bespoke intimate setting.

Things definitely get spooky into Saturday with loads of themed events on the cards.

The Bell in Stourbridge has The Haunted Halloween Party with a late license till 4am with DJs Ben Simmons and Elizabeth Jay.

After the success of their previous event, The Mitre in Tetenhall is showcasing the best in deep house, Balearic beats and chilled grooves across two rooms where DJs include Lee Perry, Matt Lloyd and DJ Scott. Best to get down there early with this one to avoid the queues!

Then literally the monster events across the Halloween weekend include the Secret Party Project – The Haunted House of Horrors at Butterley Grange, which is just outside Derby.

Again you can expect a show-stopping production that's set to stun with over five rooms of music and 50 acts with the finest DJs and performers from across the UK descending on this beautiful setting.

Hot Creations have cemented themselves as being one of the top brands in underground and electronic music over the past year and they are the very special guests of the Rainbow Warehouse to co-host Face. Head honcho Lee Foss will be headlining alongside Robert James that will no doubt delight the masses.

That's all from me this week, have a great weekend guys – see you on the other side!
