Double Grammy award-winning, easy-listening icon Jack Jones celebrates his 74th birthday in January, but is still going strong, appearing at Birmingham Town Hall on Thursday.

Over his 52-year career, he has wracked up countless singles and 50 hit albums, including this year's Love Ballad, and is marking the release of his new Greatest Hits album with a UK tour.

Featuring some of his classics, such as Wives and Lovers, Love Boat, Impossible Dream, and The Race Is On, the album also features his signature swinging style of recreating contemporary pop and rock songs mixed up with his own twist.

Highly rated by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Mel Tormé and Tony Bennett, as well as Judy Garland, he stops off at Birmingham Town Hall on Thursday, October 27, 2011, as part of the tour.

Tickets are £32.50, available from the Town Hall box office on 0121 780 3333 or www.thsh.co.uk
