. Yet again I've embarked on another adventure with Hed Kandi – this time through the Middle East. Although by the time you guys read this I hopefully should be back in time for some local antics!

I've already had some great culture shocks over here, which of course I always embrace and love. Ohh and a top tip is never to have red wine with your meal on an aeroplane when you have crazy kids in front of you – I came off with my clothes looking like an 80's tie dye throw back!

Looking at things closer to home and it's all about the garage at Piques in Cannock, tonight. DJ Sparks, Nicky G, Jaxx and Mistr B will supply two step, classics to modern day anthems from across this genre.

There's the bonus of a great admission price and a free shot on entry. Also in Cannock is the new Missoula Bar, which is a chain that runs across the whole of the UK. Each Friday you can expect awesome drinks offers and a mixture of music from party to dance.

It's always great to see an injection of nightlife to Wolverhampton and Whatever have done exactly that over the past year or so.

Tonight they again attempt to bring you something fresh with the invention of their Gold series. They're bringing in some big name Djs to the Gorgeous bar and they kick-start with K-Klass who are still delivering the hits. Expect nothing but house classics and future anthems all night long with DJs in support including Phil Gardner, Rich H, Simon Jay, Chris Steele and Jay Woodzy.

Birmingham is definitely looking lively for your Saturday night out. Face has been at the forefront in bringing underground acts to the second city and they celebrate two years of doing just that with a bang.

Danny Daze and Adam Shelton will be at the helm in the garden while Radio 1's Annie Mac will no doubt be bringing the bass to the Rainbow Warehouse.

Continuing on the alternative sound then you have to look no further than Jaguar Skills who will be performing for Ec-Lectricity at the HMV Institute. This guy needs no introduction and anyone who sees his sets live are always likely to be blown away.

Eddie Halliwell burst on the hard house scene with his energetic sets rocking crowds worldwide. He's now bringing his new concept ED-IT that embraces the current musical technology, which allows him to manipulate, remix, and re-edit tracks live on stage. You can catch him breaking new boundaries at Gatecrasher on Saturday night and I'm sure fans new and old won't be disappointed.

Moving into next week – on Monday, one of the UK's biggest student promoters Fuzzy Logic have moved into Oceana Wolverhampton and they sure are geared up in bringing you the biggest acts.

Chart topper Calvin Harris will be in town as part of his live DJ tour and of course will be delivering nothing but anthems to keep the masses moving. Definitely looking like a sell out so be sure to head to the Oceana Wolverhampton website for tickets ASAP!

Hopefully you've seen slight online teasers of a brand new nightlife concept coming to the area from Diffusion and Word of Mouth.

I can exclusively reveal that Cabaret: The Burlesque Boutique will take place at The Mount Hotel, Tettenhall on November 12. Taking over the whole complex, I can assure you this is one event that is set to stun!

Have a great weekend guys – see you on the other side!
