It's Friday afternoon, what's on your mind?

I usually work weekends so I'm thinking about which town or city I'm supposed to be in. I don't drive so I'm trying to work out train times that aren't going to get me caught up in the Friday rush.

Who normally has the pleasure of your company at the weekend?

With work, it's always a comedy club and usually with a nice local audience.

How do you prepare for a big night out?

It's usually going to be a unhealthy night, with plenty of kebabs, so I try to eat lots of healthy food beforehand to kind of balance it out.

What's your favourite party outfit?

I have to say I love Freddie Mercury, so if it was fancy dress I'd choose that. Complete with the fake moustache, leather jacket and white pants.

You've just arrived at the bar. What's your first drink?

Well I've never drunk alcohol in my life so I'd go for something like pineapple juice or maybe mix it up a bit with orange and cranberry – crazy!

What is your favourite nightspot and why?

I love those late night bars, the ones with the roof gardens, so you can just go up on them at about 1am or 2am and see the debris of the town below, and think 'How am I going to get home through this?' – it's like zombie land.

What tune always gets you on the dance floor?

There's such great stuff around at the moment, so much lively music but I must say, if Lionel Richie came on anywhere I'd be up straight away.

It's a sunny Saturday what are you up to?

Usually, I'm in a new town or city so I like to go out for a jog or a stroll to get to know the place. I like to get to know the locals, see if anything exciting is going on and of course find somewhere to eat.

What's the recipe for a perfect night in?

I love films and I like to have a collection together, because you never know if you want to watch something serious or funny. Pre-prepared food is great too, something you can order in. I'm perfectly happy with a pizza.

Favourite DVD? And what would you eat whilst watching it?

There's so many! It changes over time but it'd be something I watched recently like Amélie, that was beautiful. I like Chinese food too so I get the rice cooker on and some fish and let it all steam up while I'm watching the trailers.

Sunday breakfast – cooked or continental?

I'm afraid I'm a little bit greedy and would have to go for both, or maybe half and half. Give me a sausage and bacon croissant, if that's allowed, with a side order of fried egg on toast and an orange juice.

Sunday lunch – home-cooked or down the pub?

It depends really, but I'm not good at the whole roast dinner thing so I'd probably go out to the pub and treat my family.

Where and how do you like to relax?

When you're travelling almost every night I love to just have a nice quiet night in with a film. It's also nice to go out and watch something and be in the audience rather than on stage, I love musicals.

You've got a whole weekend off and a wad of money in your back pocket – which country or city would you head to?

If it was in the UK I'd probably go somewhere like Blackpool but overseas I'd choose Lanzarote, it's nice there, really lovely. I know a go-karting track there as well.
