After taking Broadway and the West End by storm, outrageous satirical comedy The Producers is being re-imagined for Midland audiences this autumn.

The West Bromwich Operatic Society has decided to take on the 1968 musical, written by Mel Brooks, which tells the story of a theatrical producer and an accountant who set out to pull off a money-making scam by attracting investment for a Broadway show, and ensuring it is nothing but a critically-slammed flop.

The show will run from November 22 to 26 at The New Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham.

Tickets costing £12.50 to £22.50 are available from the society on 01384 377402 or the theatre box office on 0844 871 3011.
