Dancers from the West Midlands are making a name for themselves with their new "cheesecake" burlesque show.

Vintage-themed dance group The Pin-Ups, made up of six dancers and performers from across the region, are limbering up to perform one of their biggest shows at Birmingham's Star City next month.

Each of the girls adopts a different pin-up character, as they dance, sing and show off circus skills at venues across the country.

Pin-Ups founder Jemma Bird, aged 24, of Aldridge, said: "I came up with the idea originally and nine months ago auditioned for people to join. We do cheesecake burlesque, which is more chintzy and cute whereas classic burlesque is a bit more naughty."

The Pin-Ups is also made up of Kate Stallard, aged 20, of Walsall; Laura Fleming, 20, of Solihull; Hayley Clibbery, 22 of Streetly; 21-year-old Lauren Parker, 21, of Walsall and Jade Howells, 24, of Tipton and will perform as part of Wink, a show the casino at Star City on October 1.
