A nightclub in Wolverhampton has become the setting of a music video by a city musician – after he turned down the chance to film it in LA.

Whitmore Reans-born urban singer-songwriter Tenny Ten chose the city's Oceana club to film the video for his single Let Your Hair Down.

The 26-year-old former pupil of Kings School, Tettenhall, will release his latest track, currently given a working title of Domino Effect, on October 10.

Tenny had the chance to shoot the video in LA but decided on his hometown to counterbalance negative portrayals of the city as a result of the recent rioting.

"I was disappointed with what happened but it is a good place full of interesting characters and I've got to give back," he said.

The video sees him working as a janitor in the club while daydreaming about a night out there.

Former Miss Universe contestant Leilani Dowding flew in from her LA home to star as his love interest in the video.
