Two of the world's most legendary rock bands will be coming to Birmingham's LG Arena this December, as the venue welcomes Def Leppard and Motley Crue on to the stage.
Two of the world's most legendary rock bands will be coming to Birmingham's LG Arena this December, as the venue welcomes Def Leppard and Motley Crue on to the stage.
The bands have joined forces to embark on a winter tour across the UK, which will also see them joined by fellow rockers Steel Panther.
Def Leppard, Motley Crue and Steel Panther play the LG Arena on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Tickets cost £45, plus booking and transaction fees and go on sale on Friday, September 2, from www.theticketfactory.com or 0844 338 8000.
Def Leppard's discography including hits like When Love & Hate Collide, Let's Get Rocked and Animal. They have 10 studio albums under their belt, of which Hysteria and Adrenalize reached Number 1 in the UK Album Chart, and their track Bringin' On The Heartbreak was one of the first rock videos to be played on MTV back the 80s.

2011 has already seen the release of the band's first ever live album, Mirrorball, and Leppard's first coffee table book, Def Leppard – The Definitive Visual History. June 2011 saw Def Leppard headline Download Festival for the second time in three years.
Leppard have teamed up with transatlantic peers, Motley Crue, who also shared a similar rise to fame in the 80s. The four-piece, which includes infamous drummer Tommy Lee and bassist Nikki Sixx, have sold more than 80 million albums over the world. Their ninth studio album Saints of Los Angeles was nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the US Grammy's proving the band is still high on the rock and metal fan agenda.
Added to this, spoof glam metal band Steel Panther will also appear at the LG Arena to open the show in their inimitable style.
