So after a seriously long month we may all be able to let loose with some pay weekend action – and here's where to head with all your hard earned funds!
Starting in Wolverhampton tonight where Midland hero Davey Boy takes to the decks for Whatever!? at Gorgeous Bar where no doubt he'll be primed and ready with his bassline bombs.
Staying in Wolves at Revolution there's a bassline house and garage special with Residents Only! – made up of DJs Denver White, Kyle and Shox Brown with special guest Apostle to keep the urban fans chipper.
Sticking with the urban theme the number one garage night in the Midlands Everybody Loves is back to take over the Rainbow Courtyard in Digbeth for a white themed event. Alex Parkin and Dr Love will be on hand to fire out all the garage anthems. There's also a secret location after party for any one who wants to carry this one on until Saturday morning!
For some quality house vibes in Birmingham tonight head to The Plug where there are some great drinks offers mixed with low admission, which of course is always a great combination! DJs include Le Funnk, Phutek and Craig Regan.
In Stourbridge tonight the Soul Solution guys are back to take advantage of the uptake in good weather and host the Summer Classics Party at The Swan where DJs Down n Out will play all the feel good tunes that have kept us moving so far this year.
Attempting to bring the underground sound to Wolverhampton is Illusion, which takes place at the Quadrant Lounge on Saturday. Expect dancers, MCs and DJs bringing you old skool anthems will be Levi, Wizza and Jay Bridge.
Indi Bar in Wolverhampton has hit capacity the last couple of weekends and is becoming the place to be if you're in town. DJs provide urban grooves through to commercial anthems to keep the masses entertained.
It's always great to see local towns providing us club nights and Retro at The Railway Inn, Shifnal, is doing exactly that. They have two floors of music plus a covered terrace area and supplying house through to bassline will be Steve O'Neill and Nimrod Randall.
Again bringing you the local effect is Pulse nightclub in Brierley Hill with commercial sounds all night long on a Saturday night.
The urban flavas continue at The Bed Ultra Lounge at Gatecrasher where Romeo from So Solid Crew headlines with a selection of R n B and hip hop anthems all night long.
I'm sure most of the Midland's clubbing fraternity will be heading to Stratford this weekend for Global Gathering.
If you are amongst them be sure to look out for The Secret Party Project hosting the VIP room on Friday where DJs include Joe Quinn, Jimmy Kennedy and Kris Shaw. Then the Rock n Rolla take over VIP duty on the Saturday where you'll find Will Bailey, Cause & Effect and Marc Spence delivering the heavy beats.
I'm back on Hed Kandi duty this Saturday as I make a quick stop off at Plus Club in Laganas, Zante. Not a second to top up the tan but seriously looking forward to rocking the masses. Be sure to let me know if any of you are out there on your jollies!
Moving into next week you can also catch me at the Midlands' best mid-weeker – Miami Nice at Roccoco Lounge, Wednesday night on Broad Street, Birmingham. Awesome drinks prices, with a top DJ line-up and live percussion means this one is always lively!
Have a great weekend guys – see you on the other side!
