Children's entertainment is in store for families at an arts venue in Telford. The Tiger Who Came To Tea will be performed at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place on Sunday and Monday and is suitable for children of all ages.

Venue spokeswoman Kellie Thompson said of the story: "The tea-guzzling tiger is back on the road in this delightful family show which is packed with oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs and clumsy chaos.

"The audience should expect to be surprised."

The performance is based on the picture book written and illustrated by Judith Kerr and was adapted for the stage with songs and lyrics by David Wood.

There will be three performances, on Sunday at 1.30pm and on Monday at 10.30am and 1.30pm. Tickets, priced £10, are available from the box office on 01952 382382.
