T.Rextasy to create Bolan magic at the Robin 2
It's been 40 years since T.Rex kick-started a music and fashion revolution with the release of their record Get It On. And to celebrate, the band's ultimate tribute act T.Rextasy is on tour and will play at Bilston's Robin 2 club on Saturday.
It's been 40 years since T.Rex kick-started a music and fashion revolution with the release of their record Get It On. And to celebrate, the band's ultimate tribute act T.Rextasy is on tour and will play at Bilston's Robin 2 club on Saturday (June 11).
Get It On spent four weeks in the number one spot and has become synonymous with the 1970s.
It propelled Marc Bolan and the rest of the band to fame and was followed by the release of the now iconic album Electric Warrior.
T.Rextasy – the only band endorsed and approved by Marc Bolan's family and management – will not only be playing homage to Bolan's most iconic album but will also be playing their biggest hits, such as 20th Century Boy, Telegram Sam, Metal Guru, I Love To Boogie and Children of the Revolution.
