Iconic bassist Jack Bruce is to play Birmingham Town Hall next year with his Big Blues Band. Tickets have just gone on sale.
Jack Bruce and His Big Blues Band will play Birmingham on Thursday, March 29, 2012. Tickets are £25.
As well as playing alongside Eric Clapton in Cream and writing hits including Sunshine of Your Love, White Room and I Feel Free, Bruce has worked with the likes of Alexis Korner, Graham Bond, Manfred Mann, John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, Tony Williams, Lou Reed, Burt Bacharach, Ringo Starr, Carlos Santana, Gary Moore and Joe Bonamassa.
His latest band, featuring the very best of the young British blues scene, "rocks like no other" says Bruce.
When asked what audiences should expect from Jack Bruce and His Big Blues Band 2012, Jack simply states: "Blues ancient and modern and sweet and sour rock 'n' roll."
