It is hard to believe that with their good looks and entertaining dance routines, G*Mania is made up a group of people who didn't quite make the cut.

Everyone in the Glee-inspired group is a familiar face from X-Factor, Britain's Got Talent, Grease is the Word, Pop Idol and Last Choir Standing.

The group may not have made it to the finals of these reality TV shows, but now they have been picked to star in G*Mania.

Last night they made their first every performance at Lichfield's Garrick Theatre and are now preparing to travel around the country before hitting Birmingham's New Alexandra Theatre on June 1.

The band members spent this week at Esporta gym in Lichfield to put the final touches to their dance routines.

Band members include Andy Scott Lee, Stacey McClean, Rikki Loney and Lichfield's own Shaun Smith.

Shaun was at the Birmingham Road gym and says he was excited when his agent called him up and asked him if he wanted to be in G*Mania.
