Black Country X Factor hopefuls Icandy hit the stage for a final hometown show ahead of entering the boot camp round of the hit TV show.
The five-piece girl band caught an early morning train to London today where they were to be whisked off to a secret location for filming along with other singers dreaming of fame.
And last night the pals showed the sort of talent they are counting on seeing them through to the finals in front of Simon Cowell, his fellow judges and millions of viewers.
Staged at Darlaston All Active Club in Willenhall Road — where the girls have been busy perfecting their act — last night's show featured cover songs from the likes of Rhianna, Pixie Lott and Diana Ross. The band performed two sets of around 25 minutes to more than 100 people and hoped to gather some support to the TV voting rounds - if they make it through.
Icandy are made up of student Sian Morgan, 19, from Great Wyrley, Danielle Talbot, aged 18, of Bushbury, waitress Suzanne Brown, 20, of Fordhouses, dance teacher Natalie Homer, 19, from Tividale, and student Laura Hubble, 19, of Bilston.
Sian said: "We are very excited and this last concert was our way of saying thanks to everyone who has supported us so far and to try and show other people what we can do and hopefully gain some support in case we make it further in the show.
"We are going to be cut off for a week, away from family and friends. We have had to choose two songs - one which we will sing without music and one with music. We have really stepped up the rehearsals over the last few weeks practising every day and performing at schools and at proms."
The girls got through after impressing at their audition at the LG Arena in Birmingham held in February. They were then put through to another audition in front of Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Natalie Imbruglia which will be aired in September when X-Factor begins.
