The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster"Lords of psychobilly rock" The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster are playing at the Wolves Civic Bar this month as they prepare to release their third album.

The band - also known variously by fans as Eighties Matchbox, 80s Matchbox, TEMBD, TEMBLD or just Eighties or 80s - will be at the Civic Bar on Monday, October 26, 2009. Tickets are £8 plus booking fees.

The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster were formed in Brighton in 1999 and have released two albums, 2002's Horse of the Dog and The Royal Society in 2004.

Their highest charting single was Mister Mental, which reached number 25 in January 2004 and which was featured in the film Shaun Of The Dead.

The band has since parted company with Island Records and is planning to release the as yet untitled third album early in 2010.
