Tory leaflets for North Devon appear in Dudley
The Conservatives have been left embarrassed after a leaflet appeared in the Black Country - from a candidate in North Devon.

The booklet from Tory candidate Peter Heaton-Jones was apparently delivered to an address in Dudley North, where Labour's Ian Austin is defending a slender majority of 649 votes.

But the Tory candidate in Dudley North is Les Jones.
The gaffe was picked up by Mr Austin who said on Twitter: "Conservative leaflets delivered in Dudley promise to improve transport and tourism in North Devon! Seriously!"
A copy was handed to him by a resident in central Dudley.
Mr Jones said: "Oops! But, with support for my campaign coming from across the UK, there was bound to be ONE slip up."
But he later added: "There's no way it was delivered by any of our campaign team. The only possibility is that it could have been a mistake by the Royal Mail. But we have been delivering our own post."
