Raised by Wolves: Magical mystery tour with Caitlin Moran and Co
Author Caitlin Moran and her sister Caroline took a specially invited audience on a magical mystery tour of Wolverhampton as they unveiled their new sitcom which is set in the city.
The sisters have written Raised By Wolves, which was turned into a full six-part series following a well-received pilot episode screened in late 2013.
Yesterday they arrived at Wolverhampton rail station and took journalists and competition winners, including readers of the Express & Star and Shropshire Star, on a coach tour of the landmarks that had been part of their lives growing up in the city.
Caitlin, a Times columnist and celebrated author, and Caroline are two of eight siblings who were home schooled by their parents in a council house in Enville Road, Penn. The coach tour, including national and local media, took in Enville Road in Penn where the Morans grew up.

It also passed the bus station, Charlie's Fish Bar, the 'man on the horse' and the former Dorchester night club.
Caitlin instructed her passengers that they had to refer to Wolverhampton as Wolves or Wolvo and said: "Beatties was our Harrod's. The Red House was the cheapest source of clothes that weren't second hand."
The Dorchester is the inspiration for the last episode of the series when the girls go on a night out. The family now lives in Brighton while Caroline and Caitlin live in London.
The show is based on their lives but set in the present day.
It was filmed in Manchester but had scenes shot in various places including Mander House and the rail station.
It also features Midlands-born actresses, including 33-year-old Rebekah Staton as mother Della Garry. She went to Wolgarston High School in Penkridge.
Molly Risker, aged 18, goes to Pool Hayes Comprehensive School in Willenhall. Fellow cast members include Germaine, who is played by 21-year-old Helen Monks.
She has also played Pip in Birmingham based radio soap The Archers.
