Wanted: Loving home for 24 cats

The RSPCA is searching for families for 24 cats that all came from the same home.

After their owner was found guilty of causing unnecessary cruelty to all two dozen of the animals, the RSPCA is looking for people to give them a happier life in the future.

Emma Finnimore, Kennel and cattery supervisor at RSPCA Birmingham, said: "These cats have been with us for more than a year as we couldn't rehome them until they had been signed over into our care by the court.

"They are all lovely cats and all deserve a new loving home so we hope that the right owners are out there for them."

Some of the cats need to be adopted in pairs after bonding, and the RSPCA are looking for one generous family willing to take on three 18-month-old sisters.

To adopt the animals, see www.rspca.org.uk/local/-/rspca/birmingham-animal-centre or call 0300 123 8585.
