Far from being the best thing since sliced bread, John Brown's Asda receipt for a £450 loaf of bread made him choke. Luckily he noticed the technical glitch, was offered a full refund by Asda, and a goodwill treat the next time he visited the shop.

Only one week later another technical hiccup from Asda (though this time in Tipton, rather than Heath Town) charged one pensioner £53 for a cabbage, and only a small one at that! Again Asda kindly refunded Jean Hudson and offered her a £2 goodwill voucher.

While wasting the time of the emergency services is no laughing matter, the recording of the 999 caller who phoned to complain about his McDonald's burger was quite amusing. After a lengthy argument with the operator over his refusal to 'do him a favour' and transfer him to Wolverhampton officers at Bilston Street, the rambling caller finally reveals his 'emergency' involves the ingredients on a McDonalds burger.

One Wolves superfan felt that the football team needed to play an important role in his big day, and had the Wolves emblem embroidered onto the back of his wedding suit in hundreds of shimmering gold and red beads, and gleaming golden thread. Bachitar Singh Boparai's wife, Ravinder, said she was impressed with the detail and design of the suit, but said that his love of football would have to take a back-seat now that they were married.

Wolves were once again at the heart of another humorous post, although rather than being on someone's back, this time they were on a supporter's chest - though upside down! Richard Gough was delighted with his new Wolves shirt, until he noticed that the badge on the front had been sewn on upside down! When Mr Gough contacted the club about the issue, the banterous side sent him a letter of apology, written upside down of course!
