Don't Wed 'til You Get Enough: Britain's Got Talent stars in Signature surprise

Britain's Got Talent finalists Signature brought cheers and screams from delighted wedding guests as they created a first dance to remember for a happy Staffordshire couple.

Newlyweds Neil and Jody Bannister wanted a Michael Jackson number for their first dance - and conceived a show stopping performance as a surprise for their guests.

Signature - famed for their fusion of Jackson hits and Bhangra - joined the couple on the dance floor to stun guests at their wedding reception at Rodbaston Hall, in Penkridge.

Suleman Mirza, who created the dance act with his moonwalking moves, shot to fame with friend and Bhangra dancer Madhu Singh, when they finished runners up on the television talent show in 2008.

Mr and Mrs Bannister, aged 41 and 32 respectively, both deliver post for Royal Mail from its Cannock sorting office.

The bridge and groom took to the dancefloor for their first dance as husband and wife to Michael Jackson's The Lady in My Life.

Just moments into the romantic routine, the music stopped as the couple and their DJ played along with the ruse of a spill on the dance floor.

They called on the cleaner, Madhu Singh, replicating their television performance, to burst in to sweep up - and start a dance extravaganza.

Suleman, dressed in the classic MJ red and black outfit from the Thriller video, then stormed onto the floor.

The pair brought the house down with hit after of hit including Thriller, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal and Black and White.

After their show stopping routine, Suleman said: "It is brilliant to be here. These occasions are always so special and it is great to be able to share it that. They both had the moves. The crowds were great.

"When we get to sit down and look back, which isn't very often, we are still amazed at all the places we have played and the performances we have done."

The newlyweds, who live in Teddesley Way, Huntington, Cannock, were together for six years before Neil popped the question while they were on holiday in Fuerteventura in May.

"We loved them on Britain's Got Talent. We just wanted something unique and something to surprise everyone and it makes it memorable too," said Mrs Bannister.

"It has been hard to keep it a secret but it couldn't have gone better. We even went on the dancefloor with them."

Her husband added: "We have had a fantastic day. The place is great, the food, the guests, the location and Signature have been great too. We couldn't have wished for anything more."

The day which was themed on the Royal Mail which brought them together.

There were Postman Pat themed table cloths, mail shaped boards for the place settings and even a mail box for people to post their presents and cards to the couple.
