Cricket is theme for festival brews

Beers from all 18 first class cricket counties will be featured in the Black Country Beer Festival.

The event is running at Lye Cricket Club's ground in Stourbridge Road from August 14 to 16.

The festival is put on by the club with Lye brewery Sadler's Ales and up to 80 beers, ciders and perries will be on offer.

The pavilion bar is also being sponsored by the Green Duck Brewery from Stourbridge,

There will be live music each day and festivalgoers will also be able to watch cricket matches being played on the Friday and Saturday.

The festival will also be helping raise money for the Royal British Legion.

It opens at 6pm on the Thursday.
