My guide to student life, by Nicholas, 18
Relationships, wealth and skills are among the topics in a new book written by a student to help teenagers achieve their ambitions.
Nicholas Goodall decided to write the volume, called The Student Manual: A Guide to Success, to share his ideas and experiences with others.
The 18-year-old, who lives just outside Bromsgrove, is currently studying mathematics, further mathematics and physics at Stourbridge's King Edward VI College.
He wrote the book over the course of nearly four months putting together all aspects of the work before sending it off to be printed.
A run of 2,000 copies of the book, priced £5, has been published but Mr Goodall hopes to expand on this in the future and to update the volume as his own experience grows.
The manual is designed to be a self-development book looking at four core topics of health, relationships, wealth and skills with a number of sub-headings.
Mr Goodall said: "I am very pleased and proud of the book. I first came up with the idea earlier this year. I wanted to share my own experiences and also ideas to help teenagers unlock their potential. It can be used by any student at any college."
