The number out of work remained stable in Cannock Chase in August at 2,358. This represents 4.9 per cent of the population aged 16 to 64.
Tory MP Aidan Burley said "We have already had a fantastic response from employers, so much so that we now have over 40 businesses attending the fairs, all of whom have vacancies."
Both events are free to attend. The Cannock fair is to be held between 10am and 4pm on September 23 at the Cannock Campus of South Staffordshire College, The Green.
The Rugeley event will be held between the same times on September 30 at Rugeley Rose Theatre, Taylors Lane.
