The plans centre on South Kidderminster Business Park which includes established companies such as boat manufacturer Sealine, Victoria Carpets and rocket maker Roxel.
The Government is looking to create 21 Enterprise Zones in England. The locations for the first 11 include the Black Country, Birmingham and Solihull. A further 10 will be chosen later this year — which Kidderminster is bidding to be part of.
If given the green light, business leaders from regeneration group, ReWyre, say it will boost the town's economy by attracting new businesses.
Super fast broadband will also be rolled out and improvements will be made to the roads.
