40 jobs lined up as work starts on Wolverhampton KFC
Work to transform a vacant working mens' club in Wolverhampton into a fast food outlet has begun in moves that will create 40 jobs.

Diggers have moved onto the site of Bushbury Working Mens' club, in Bushbury Lane, to turn the building into a KFC.
The move will provide a jobs boost to the area which has seen Strykers Bowling Alley on Shaw Road close in October and the nearby Island House pub remain vacant for a number of years.
However, councillor Peter O'Neill claimed there were too many takeaways in the area.
