40 jobs up for grabs at Cannock car supermarket
Forty jobs are on offer at a new used car business in Cannock.
The new owners of the former Motorhouse2000 site in Watling Street are recruiting 40 new staff.
It re-opens tomorrow as a new branch of used car supermarket Availablecar.
The company has taken over the full 14-acre site and the 103 existing staff, with recruitment under way to take on 40 people in various departments.
The premises on the A5 has undergone a complete re-brand and modernisation
It is the third site for AvailableCar, which is based at Castle Donington, Leicestershire and will hold 1,000 cars for customers to browse through.
Once the new Cannock site is open, AvailableCar will have more than 3,300 used cars in stock and a team of over 400, making it one of the biggest used-car retailers in the UK.
Paul Arscott, operations director said: "After long negotiations, it was clear to see that the standard Motorhouse had already set, will form a great platform that AvailableCar can build-on and grow."
