Energy company creating 30 jobs in Oldbury
Thirty new jobs will be created by the expansion of an energy firm in Oldbury.
Specialists Mark Group is to take on 30 new staff at its distribution centre at Wharfside.
The company, which has its head office in Leicester, installs energy-saving and energy generating equipment, including solar panels, into homes, schools and businesses.
It is recruiting home performance assessors and managers to carry out home energy efficiency assessments at properties around the region.
Mark Group, which employs 1,500 in the UK, plans to recruit 600 people across the country by the end of the year in response to increased demand for home energy assessments under the government's ECO scheme and in preparation for the company's move into Green Deal assessments later this year.
Chief executive Stephen Lamb said: "We have enjoyed a period of steady growth."
