The donation from car company Arnold Clark, which has a Motorstore in Stafford, comes as the team, Keep It Casual, go from strength to strength making their way victoriously through the various leagues in the area.

The under 17s boys football team, who have been welcomed into the North Staffordshire Football League, are undefeated winners of Stoke Lucozade Power League division two and three. They now have their sights set on on progressing in the Stafford Sunday League.

Colin Rhind of Arnold Clark's Stafford Motorstore said the company was delighted to support local community projects. Arnold Clark Stafford is honoured to have had the opportunity to support the local under-17s football team, Keep it Casual.

"Without generous donations the project would cease to exist, and the good work the various football leagues do within the community is unrivalled in the area. We hope that our donation helps the team reach the top of the Stafford Sunday League," he said.

Craig Longson, manager of Keep It Casual, said the new strips will reflect in the quality of play from the young boys and said if they look professionally kitted out in their new strips, this will transgress into their performance on the pitch.

With training every Monday and matches on Fridays the strips are set to be standard attire for the team.
