Staff at a Stourbridge-based solicitors practice have donated food to a charity helping needy families this summer school holiday.
QualitySolicitors Talbots' employees supported local charity, Black Country Foodbank, with the by collecting food last month.
The charity supports families by providing emergency food supplies until a longer term solution can be found. It has handed out emergency food parcels to nearly 19,000 people over the last six years.
QualitySolicitors Talbots senior partner, Martyn Morgan, said: "It is staggering to think that in this day and age, there are people in our community who struggle to eat properly every day. It goes without saying that we – and our staff – were more than happy to support Foodbank."
The firm ran a donation scheme at its two Stourbridge offices over a two-week period in July. Due to its success, the firm plans to promote the scheme across its six locations on a regular basis in the future.
