Aldridge-based In-Comm Training & Business Services has became the first provider in the West Midlands to be recognised under the new Training Excellence scheme.
It follows a two-day assessment in December.
Following the closure of the Training Quality Standard (TQS) in 2011, Leicester-based research and consultancy firm CFE has developed and launched a new improvement platform called Training Excellence, to build on and succeed the TQS.
Through assessment, Training Excellence helps training providers understand their ability to respond to, and impact on, employer customers' business needs .
It also helps organisations identify their strengths and highlight the critical issues that they need to tackle to become high innovation, high impact providers of training.
Organisations that score highly enough become Recognised Training Excellence Organisations, and are able to carry the Training Excellence stamp for two years.
Andy Currie, Training Excellence Programme Manager at CFE, said: "All of In-Comm's staff should be extremely proud of their achievement. In-Comm is an extremely impressive organisation, and through their assessment have demonstrated their excellence in responding to the training needs of employers.
"We're extremely pleased that In-Comm will be proudly be displaying the Training Excellence Stamp."
