500 try for jobs at Aldi in Halesowen

Around 500 people have applied to work at a new supermarket which is being opened in Halesowen.

Bosses at Aldi are opening a branch on the site of the former All Electric Garage in Earls Way, in November.

The store will create a dozen new jobs but supermarket bosses today said there had been a flood of interest from people wanting to work there.
