Business village adds more offices

An award-winning business village near Penkridge has added 20 new offices to its site with the support of a £4.8 million funding package from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.

Dunston Business Village, is located in South Staffordshire and offers rented office space ranging from 200 sq ft to more than 10,000 sq ft.

Since its opening in 2006 has trebled in size to accommodate more than 50 businesses with more than 450 people working from the site.

After experiencing a high level of occupancy, the business approached Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking to support the construction of 15 new plots. The new offices will help to further attract business investment into the area, with its current occupants ranging from small and medium-sized firms to blue-chip companies, including Hope Construction Materials and JLL.

As part of its growth strategy, it is now looking to develop a further 15 log cabins on the site, providing alternative space for firms looking for more upmarket and less-traditional offices.

"After experiencing a great deal of interest in the site, we felt it was the right time to add more offices." and continue to grow our business."
