Insurance firm investing in its staff

A Brierley Hill insurance intermediary business is celebrating achieving the Investors in People accreditation which recognises its commitment to training.

Commercial Express staff took to the bridge outside its offices at Custom House, The Waterfront, for a branded balloon launch to mark the achievement.

Investors in People is the most successful framework for business improvement through people. Commercial Express has achieved bronze and the company is now working hard towards achieving gold standard in the next 12 months.

The accreditation will help improve Commercial Express's performance and achieve its objectives in investing in technology, involving and empowering people and introducing new ways of working.

Clare Nash, human resources and operations manager for Commercial Express said: "We are delighted to receive the bronze status from Investors in People with flying colours. It represents an excellent achievement and is recognition of all the hard work everyone has put in across the organisation, not just leading up to the assessment but for the commitment they show day in day out in making Commercial Express a successful and a progressive company."
