Show generates enquiries for Sirus Automotive
A Wednesbury business that specialises in converting vehicles for use by wheelchair users exhibited at the recent Naidex event at the Birmingham NEC.
Sirus Automotive received a high number of enquiries during the three-day exhibition about its front wheelchair passenger solutions and new 'We-Can Flex' rear access car.
Based on the Volkswagen Caddy, this vehicle enables an adult or child with a disability to travel and when the wheelchair user is not on board the interior can be reconfigured back to a standard five-seater car.
Simon Pearson, Sirus Automotive's managing director, said: "We have been delighted with the enquiry levels received at Naidex regarding our new We-Can Flex and existing upfront wheelchair passenger vehicles.
"Visitors to the Sirus stand were extremely impressed with the flexibility and practicality that all our cars provide.
"We believe this latest Sirus wheelchair accessible car, the We-Can Flex, will once again provide significant lifestyle benefits and travel convenience for many individuals living with restricted mobility."
Sirus also exhibited a selection of adapted models from its established range which included the 'U-Can and 'Switch'.
Switch is Sirus's most affordable conversion to date and offers owners total flexibility – they can either drive from their wheelchair, or travel up front as a passenger without the need to transfer.
Several conversions were also available for test drives around the NEC complex during the course of the exhibition.
