Our award-winning Feed a Family Campaign has helped maintain stocks at foodbanks across the West Midlands as the cost-of-living crisis impacts on households.
You also backed our campaign to find the £2 million needed to save Acorns Children’s Hospice in Walsall and have helped to raise money for hundreds of other good causes.
Thousands of readers backed our Cash for Schools initiatives , which has helped fund sensory rooms for children with special needs and play equipment for cash-strapped schools.
Our Our Christmas Toy Appeal brought happiness to hundreds of ill and vulnerable children – thank you for your kind donations, they have not been forgotten.

Some of our recent campaigns have included calling for improvements in flood barriers along the River Severn , particularly in Ironbridge and Bewdley where thousands of homes are at risk.
When we highlighted the scourge of gangs and the violence that ruin young lives , we knew we could rely on your backing.
With our NHS in crisis , we spoke to those impacted – from patients and their families to those who work on the front line.
We have campaigned against knife crime and called for a ban on the selling of machetes.
