The Streetly schoolgirl, who has just celebrated her eighth birthday, was at Walsall's HMV branch to chat to fans and sign copies of her Christmas album.
Dozens of fans flocked to the store, in Crown Wharf Retail Park, to meet the young music star, who melted the hearts of the nation when she appeared on TV talent show Britain's Got Talent. Pelsall grandmother Carol Squire took along thrilled granddaughters Ellie, aged 11, and twins Laura and Emma, aged eight, to meet the famous youngster – and she came away with nothing but praise for the young star.
"She was lovely, absolutely delightful," said Mrs Squire. My grandchildren got her autograph and she signed their CD.
Connie's 15-track Christmas album includes classics Let It Snow, Silent Night, Ave Maria and White Christmas.
