Schoolgirl singing sensation Connie Talbot is getting set to taste TV stardom once again with a host of performances lined up on the silver screen – and closer to her Midlands home.

The six-year-old Streetly star, who captivated millions of viewers on Britain's Got Talent, is preparing to launch her new album on November 26. She is now looking forward to a stint of appearances to promote its release including an appearance on Children In Need tomorrow.
She will sing Somewhere Over The Rainbow, the song that made TV judge Amanda Holden cry, in Birmingham's Centenary Square at 8.40pm.
She will follow that up with an instore signing and performance of the same song in Walsall's HMV store at 5.30pm on November 27.
She will then settle down on the GMTV sofa on November 26 at 8am.
She will also appear on Channel 5 news the same night at 7pm, and This Morning on December 12 at 9am.
Connie will also be switching on Walsall's Christmas lights on November 22. Tracks on her new album include Somewhere Over The Rainbow, Ben, Walking In The Air, My Favourite Things and I Have A Dream.
A clip on YouTube of Connie show the pint-sized schoolgirl taking the spotlight in her stride as she records I Have a Dream, flanked by a full orchestra. Another shows her with her friends at Blackwood Primary in Streetly, where she is part of the school choir.
The youngster, whose front teeth have grown back since Britain's Got Talent, signed a six figure recording deal for her album earlier this month.
She won the hearts of the nation on the hit ITV1 show earning top praise from "Mr Nasty" Simon Cowell.
Rainbow Recordings eventually signed her up and music experts have predicted that Connie could land the coveted Christmas number one spot with her album.
