Dudley-born Allardyce and Portuguese-born Silva currently head the betting market at 2/1.
Nigel Pearson who was recently sacked as boss of Derby County is as short as 6/1 with temporary boss Rob Edwards available at 8/1.
Allardyce could prove a popular choice with his local connections, while Marco Silva's agent is Jorge Mendes.
Former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is also on Mendes' books and can be backed at 12/1.
Ryan Giggs was very close to landing the Swansea job and has been priced as the 16/1 outsider to take over at Molineux.
