With a multi-million pound Chinese businessman supposedly waiting in the wings, a flurry of bets over the weekend have seen their promotion price tumble from 16/1 to 4/1.

Kenny Jackett's men have also been backed from 40/1 to 14/1 to be crowned champions of the EFL Championship.

They are now just 6/4 shots to make the playoffs and 12/1 to win them.

Wolves are the biggest market mover of the the day in any UK football division and signs are that the money will continue over the week ahead.

Wolves started Monday as the 14th most likely team to get back into the Premier League, but are now fourth favourites along with Brighton and Derby County.

Punters might not be getting the 5000/1 that was previously available for Leicester to win the Premier League, but some of the Molineux faithful will be hoping for a tidy profit having snapped up the 40/1 that was on offer.
