Premier League side Crystal Palace are reportedly lining up a move for Wolves defender Dominic Iorfa.

Palace are prepared to offer £3m for the 20-year-old, who has enjoyed a stellar 15 months after making his debut in December 2014.

The England under-21 international signed a new three-and-a-half year contract in November but has long been watched by Premier League clubs.

And the Eagles - who signed Bakary Sako on a free transfer after he left Wolves last summer - want Iorfa to form part of a re-jigged defence at Selhurst Park.

Wolves would be extremely reluctant to sell one of their prize assets. They see Iorfa and fellow 20-year-old Kortney Hause as being crucial to the team's long-term plans.

But with the club on the market - and funds needed to finance summer spending - they may be tempted at the right price.

However if they were to even begin to contemplate a sale they would want far more than the £3m Palace are thought to be preparing to offer for a player who has already trained with the full England squad and has the potential to go right to the top of the game.

Iorfa has featured almost exclusively at right back for Wolves, but he impressed at centre half alongside Danny Batth during yesterday's 0-0 draw with Rotherham.
