Bjorn Sigurdarson 'on way back'
Icelandic forward Bjorn Sigurdarson remains very much on the comeback trail, despite being forced off with a groin injury for the under-21s on Saturday.
Sigurdarson played 73 minutes against Stoke and the problem isn't thought to be serious.
Kenny Jackett reaffirmed the 24-year-old would be given a chance to stake a first-team claim in the near future.
"Bjorn came off with a groin injury which hopefully is OK during the course of the week," he said. "It does happen that way when you've been out for five months.
"Having a few games will help him and help the rest of his body condition.
"You can't have enough forwards and I've been pleased with what he's done so far.
"Also in training, he's been training with the first team and looked good.
"I don't think he'll be far off and he's an option for us.
"He'll be someone I consider."
