Nouha Dicko out of Wolves' clash at Reading
Wolves have been dealt a big blow after striker Nouha Dicko was ruled out of Sunday's clash at Reading.
The 22-year-old striker has failed to recover from a tight hamstring that forced him off at half-time of the 1-0 win against Bolton last Saturday when he scored the only goal.
Head coach Kenny Jackett said: "Nouha won't be fit or available for Sunday. We don't want to risk him."
Dicko is expected to be fit for Wednesday's visit of Huddersfield.
His absence for the first time this season means Jackett has just two fit senior strikers for the trip to the Madejski Stadium in Leon Clarke and Liam McAlinden.
Asked if Clarke will be Dicko's replacement, Jackett said: "We will see what team selection brings.
"We have Liam McAlinden and Rajiv Van La Parra who can play along the line and in different combinations."
Dicko's injury makes Wolves' striker shortage even more acute, but there is no imminent arrival of another forward.
Clarke replaced Dicko at the interval last weekend and started in the 1-1 draw at Charlton in the previous game, when Dicko came on at the break but missed a good chance.
