Wolves' Kevin Doyle loaned to Crystal Palace
Out-of-favour Wolves striker Kevin Doyle is back in the Premier League after joining Crystal Palace on loan until January.
The move has been completed while the 30-year-old is away on international duty, with a double header for the Republic of Ireland.
Doyle was a club-record £6.5million signing for Wolves in June 2009, making 173 appearances and scoring 33 goals.
But the forward hasn't found the net since a game against Oldham Athletic in January, moving to Queens Park Rangers on loan at the end of that month.
New Palace manager Neil Warnock is a long-term admirer and brought Doyle to Selhurst Park with minutes of the transfer deadline left to spare.
With his contract due to expire next summer, Doyle has been another from the infamous Group Three to leave the club, after last week's departures of Jamie O'Hara and Tongo Doumbia.
Roger Johnson, Kevin Foley, Razak Boukari and Georg Margreitter remain on Wolves' books after the transfer window slammed shut.
Doyle's departure was the second on a loan basis today, with midfielder Jack Price heading to Yeovil for a month.
