Nouha Dicko: Bakary Sako is a top talent
Wolves striker Nouha Dicko believes winger Bakary Sako can run riot in the Championship – because he is Premier League quality.
The forward hailed the Mali international as he sent out a warning to the rest of the division.
Sako scored 10 goals in the Championship when Wolves were relegated in 2013 and netted 12 times last season to help them back up.
And Dicko expects his friend and team-mate to have another huge impact on Wolves' season.
He said: "I think he can help the team a lot, as he did last season and the season before that when unfortunately the club went down.
"Everyone knows what he's capable of at this level and I think he can play in the Premier League.
"So it's good to have a Premier League player in the Championship. He has all the qualities – he's strong, quick a great left foot and he can score goals and provide assists.
"I think we're very lucky to have him in the team."
Dicko linked well with Sako on Sunday in the 1-0 win over Norwich, although both failed to score.
Sako was denied by keeper John Ruddy after being set up by his team-mate and Dicko failed to get on the end of Sako's teasing cross in the second half.
It was left to Dutch player Rajiv van La Parra, on debut, to lay on Dave Edwards' second-half winner.
He was one of just two summer arrivals – along with Tommy Rowe – after joining from Heerenveen and Dicko tipped Van La Parra to shine at Molineux as well.
The forward said: "I think he's going to be a good player for us this season.
"Once he settles well into the team, I reckon he will be a really good player for Wolves and in the division.
"With him on the right and maybe Sako on the left, we have really good attacking options.
"Hopefully, he will settle well and give his best."
