Season ticket cost bonus for Wolves fans

Wolves today announced plans to target the 14,500 barrier for season tickets – by dropping prices to lower than when they were last in the Championship.

The club hope the cost structure will push the current total of 11,940 season ticket holders up by another 2,560 to 14,500.

At the moment, 88 per cent of current holders have renewed and more were taken on in the 'Join The Pack' campaign.

Adult fans buying their seats now will pay £370 behind the goals as opposed to £320 under the Early Bird scheme launched in March, which represents a rise of 15.6 per cent, with prices effectively going up from £14 to £16 per game.

For the same seat, they would have paid £345 as part of the 'Join the Pack' discounted scheme, which was open to new holders.

In 2012-13, Wolves re-introduced their Early Bird scheme at a rate of £379 for adults behind the goals - £9 more than the current prices.

In the Billy Wright Stand upper tier, adult prices are now £490 for online, £515 offline and £530 direct debit; £298, £313 and £318 for over-65s and under-21s; £240, £240 and £260 for under-17s and £192, £192 and £212 for under-12s.

In the Billy Wright Stand lower tier, adult prices are £410, £431 and £450; over-65s and under-21s pay £250, £263 and £270; under-17s pay £80, £80 and £100 and under-12s with a purchasing adult pay £23, £23 and £43.

In the Stan Cullis and Jack Harris Stands, adults pay £370, £389 and £410; over-65s and under-21s pay £220, £231 and £240; under-17s pay £165, £165 and £185; under-12s pay £120, £120 and £140.

In the Steve Bull Stand upper tier, adults pay £430, £452 and £470; over-65s and under-21s pay £235, £247 and £255; under-17s pay £156, £156 and £176 and under-12s pay £130, £130 and £150.

A £6 booking fee applies per season ticket.

Speaking of matchday admission, chief executive Jez Moxey said it was "almost certain" they wouldn't be kept at the same price.

"We need to ensure the season ticket is an attractive commodity," he said.

The new away kit will be unveiled some time in July.
